President Trump had his rally last night at Target Center in Minneapolis, and among those in attendance was Republican candidate for Minnesota U.S. District 7 seat Michelle Fischbach. The former President of the Minnesota State Senate told the KMRS Early Morning Show that the House of Representatives should drop its impeachment proceedings against the president, which she sees as a part of a long-range effort by Democrats to oust Trump from office.
Fischbach said she did not read the transcript of the conversation between Trump and the Ukrainian president, but “I take the president at his word, that there was no quid pro quo and they just need to move on. They’ve been trying to do this for years. They’ve been looking for something. They tried Russia, they tried the Mueller Report. They’ve been just continuing to push and push and try to find something.”
Fischbach said it was a “fact” that Trump would win Minnesota in the 2020 election. The complete interview with Michelle Fischbach can be found at our website, kmrskkok.com under the News tab in the Community Connection section.
