The Briggs Library Association annual Book Sale will run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today in the Student Center’s Oyate Hall on the University of Minnesota Morris campus. Professor Emeritus Jim Togeas told KMRS that perusing the 8,000 books at the sale is one of life’s simple pleasures.

“The Student Center is a pleasant space to be in,” said Togeas. “It’s airy, there’s a lot of natural light, there are comfy places to sit and read. It’s been my experience that book browsing is geat fun because it leads to unexpected and delightful finds.”

There will also be CDs and magazines there, parking is free on campus all day today, and free hot cider and hot cocoa will be provided.
