Republican Congressional candidate Joel Novak will hold a town hall meeting 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Depot Express in Alexandria. The ten-minute talk will be about how the U.S. Congress has legislated law that the U.S. Constitution does not allow it to create. The talk will be followed by questions on any Federal issue that the U.S. Constitution does allow the U.S. House of Representatives to legislate on. Novak also wants to hear what citizens would like him to do as a Congressman, and to hear their concerns about the U.S. government.
The Depot will be having dinner specials for town hall guests who come between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. Coffee, water, and dessert will be provided at the event.
