(8) Hancock 3, (9) Battle Lake 0
HANCOCK – Hancock dominated the first set, then erased a five-point deficit in each of the next two to earn a sweep of Battle Lake 25-13, 27-25, 25-23.
Trailing 17-12 in set two, Lexi Staples served the Owls to six straight points, the teams traded points from there until the Owls were able to pull out the win on a tip at the net.
Hancock erased an early deficit in set three and held off a late push by the Battlers to earn the sweep.
Carlee Hanson led the Owls with 16 kills and eight assists, Rylee Hanson added eight kills with 16 assists and three aces. Lindsay Mattson tallied eight kills, four digs, and two blocks.
The Owls will face top-seeded Henning in the 6A-South quarterfinals on Wednesday at 7:00.

(7) Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 3, (10) Ortonville 0
WHEATON – Wheaton/Herman-Norcross cruised into the quarterfinal round of the 6A-South playoffs with a sweep of Ortonville 25-19, 25-7, 25-14.
Maycee Tolifson and Ellissa Rinke each had six kills, Kaylynn Doll added five for the Warriors who set up a third meeting with rival and no. 2 seeded Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Wednesday.

(6) Underwood 3, (11) West Central Area 0
UNDERWOOD – Underwood came up with some timely service runs and played great defense at the net to sweep West Central Area 25-19, 25-17, 27-25.
Emma Swenson led the Knights with 21 digs, Morgan Stark had 16 with nine kills, Hailey Bennett added 10 assists. The Rockets will now face no. 3 Brandon-Evansville on Wednesday night.
