Morris Schools Superintendent Troy Ferguson told the KMRS Community Connection that a date has finally been set for a public open house to view the work that has been completed on the renovation of the Morris Area High School. It will be coordinated on the same night as Parent-Teacher conferences on November 7th in the hopes that community members will find a time convenient for them to check out the work done to date.

“We’re really happy to invite the public to come in on our Open House day November 7th to take a look at the building projects and see what we’ve done at Morris Area High School. It’s fantastic,” said Ferguson. “We’re really excited to have all of you come and take a look.”

Tours will be given in three shifts throughout the day on the 7th: between 8 and 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 and 4 p.m.; and 5 to 8 p.m. Tours will be led by students, other school staff and the Superintendent. Ferguson said the only things left to finish are the flooring, most of which will be done over next summer, and some tweaking of the heating system.
