For the third straight year, a Botker was named MVP and Moberg Coach of the Year when the Pheasant Conference volleyball awards were announced on Tuesday.
Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley junior Lora Botker was named Conference MVP, while Kristi Moberg earned her third straight Coach of the Year honor.
Moberg coached the Wolverines to their third straight conference title by going 8-0, they haven’t lost a conference match in three years, winning 24 in-a-row.
Botker’s award comes after her sister Emma won the previous two conference MVP’s. She led CGB with 330 kills, was second with 285 assists, while adding 230 digs, 25 blocks, and 37 aces.
Joining Botker on the All-Conference Team were teammates Jessica Moberg, Reanna Ward, and Mataiah Turner. Honorable mentions included Emma Wulff, Lily Murphy, and Kylie Lick.
Wheaton/Herman-Norcross was conference runner-up at 6-2, and had three All-Conference players with Maycee Tolifson, Alexis Hanson, and Kaylynn Doll. Amanda Lanter and Jadyn Kremer were honorable mentions.
Carlee and Rylee Hanson were All-Conference for Hancock, with Miranda Chamberlain and Lindsey Mattson named honorable mention.
For West Central Area Kaleigh Anderson and Elizabeth Rustan earned All-Conference, while Hailey Bennett and Morgan Stark were honorable mentions.
Ortonville’s Caitlynn Schellberg was All-Conference and Jocelyn Meyer was named an honorable mention.
