BARRETT – Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa had five champions at the Grant County Invite on Saturday, taking first place as a team with a score of 220.

WCA/ABE took second with a 191, MAHACA was third at 187.

Wyatt Engen, Walker Bents, Tyler Jensen, Canon Swanson, and Mark Jennings were champs for the Jaguars, the Knights lone champion was Bret Duncan, while the Tigers Ethan Lebrija took first at 126.

Benson’s Adam Zosel and Thomas Dineen each took first the Braves who finished in sixth place. Complete results HERE

MORRIS – Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta had five gymnasts set personal bests on Saturday at the Morris Invite.
The Tigers had a score of 111 and took fifth place while Benson/KMS won the event with a score of 132. Emma Snell, Meghan Goulet, Kaylin Steen, Julia Gillespie, Kelly Berlinger, and Faith Butterfass each had personal best scores in various events, Sara Hoffman stuck her beam routine.


Brandon-Evansville 69, Battle Lake 39
EVANSVILLE – Titus Fuller scored 20 points to lead Brandon-Evansville past Battle Lake 69-39 on Saturday.

Tanner Bitzan added 15 points for the Chargers who are 3-0. Riley Leabo scored 14 for the Battlers as they fall to 0-3.


Lake Park-Audubon 71, West Central Area 62
LAKE PARK – Lexi Bright scored 26 points with 10 steals but it wasn’t enough as West Central Area fell to Lake Park-Audubon 71-62 on Saturday.

Claire Stark chipped in nine points and eight rebounds for the Knights who are 1-2.
