The CP Holiday Train rolls into the area this Friday and Saturday providing entertainment in exchange for donations to the food shelves.

All aboard! The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop in more than two-dozen Minnesota towns on its annual ride through the northern U.S., bringing live entertainment and Christmas cheer in exchange for donations to local food banks. The train will be in Minnesota from Dec. 5-14.

The Holiday Train will stop on Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. in Glenwood at the CP Station (20 15th Street NE); at 11:30 a.m. in Alexandria at the 8th Avenue East Railroad crossing by Hubbard Feed Mill at 8th and Nokomis; and at 2:30 p.m. in Detroit Lakes at the Holmes Street Railroad crossing near the Holmes Community Center (826 Summit).

It will also stop in Elbow Lake on Saturday, December 14 at 4:15 p.m. at the Main Street crossing.
