Following what he called a number of good leads, Morris Police Chief Reggie Welle told KMRS this past Friday that he expects the investigation into the January 3rd bomb threat to the Morris Area High School to be concluded in about a week.

“I am very confident that we will find the person or persons responsible for this threat that was presented to the Morris Area High School and the Morris community in total,” said Welle.

Welle said police have interviewed about 30 people and viewed hours of surveillance video from the high school. He also said handwriting samples were taken from a group of students to be analyzed by an outfit in Stillwater.
