A number of cases are scheduled to be heard in District Court at the Stevens County Courthouse today.
Former Morris School Board member Brent Fuhrman is scheduled to appear at 3:30 p.m. He was charged in June on a 2nd degree burglary charge for breaking and entering into a neighbor’s house without consent.
Adam Christians is scheduled to appear in court today in a case that has taken years to develop. According to County Attorney Aaron Jordan, Christians had lived for some time with his then-fiancee and broke up with her a couple of days before their wedding. The woman then attempted suicide by pills and ended up with an extended hospital stay. During that time, it’s alleged that Christians took some of the woman’s property, according to the criminal complaint.
And McKenzie Mattson is also scheduled to appear in court today. County Attorney Jordan told KMRS that Mattson had been drinking at the Met Lounge in Morris and elbowed a window, causing thousands of dollars in damage. Jordan thought the case may be settled before any further legal proceedings take place.
