The recently-formed West Central Minnesota Climate Network will meet 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Morris Public Library. Organizer Sydney Bauer told the KMRS Community Connection why the group formed.

“The purpose of our group was to really bring people together who are interested in topics like agriculture or water health or, let’s say, energy or any of those kinds of topics, to talk about them and to learn from each other and then take action together.”

Saturday’s meeting will focus on planning for an 8 a.m. Friday, February 21st conversation on issues of waste with local waste experts from Engebretson Disposal, Pope Douglas Recycling and Stevens County Environmental Services Director Bill Kleindl
