Girl Scouts from Troops 481 and 518 will be setting up shop at Willie’s Supervalu in Morris on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. with their Cookie Booth to kick off the 2020 Girl Scout cookie sales. The girls dropped a cookie bombshell about a popular flavor on the KMRS Community Connection,

“And it’s also Thanks-a-Lots last year,” said the girls. That’s right…they’re phasing out the Thanks-a-Lot flavor so this will be the last year to get those.

They’ll be selling the usual suspects of Thin Mints, Lemonades, S’mores and Peanut Butter Patties, among others as they raise funds for various Troop expenses and upcoming activities and trips. Each box sells for $4.50, except for the gluten-free options, which are $5 and in limited supply.

The girls will also be collecting hats, gloves and cleaning supplies as a community service project. They also have a Cookie Shares program, with donated boxes of cookies going this year to Eagle’s Healing Nest in Sauk Centre.
