Morris Area High School 8th Grader Isaac Hoffman took 3rd Place at yesterday’s Multi-Region State Spelling Bee in Fergus Falls. Hoffman was one of 20 competitors from around Greater Minnesota who competed in the close contest. First Place Champion was Ben St. Hillaire, a 7th Grader from Saint John’s Preparatory School, who will go to the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. Runner-Up went to 8th Grader Reese Magnuson of Glencoe-Silver Lake.
