Morris Schools Superintendent Troy Ferguson told KMRS that the School District has submitted a bill to the County Attorney’s office for restitution of expenses related to the January 3rd bomb threat.

“We submitted a bill for roughly $1,400,” Ferguson confirmed. “Some of that was overtime for bus drivers and the other portion was food that was already out being prepared but when we gave the order to evacuate they just left it there, so it was spoiled.”

Ferguson reiterated that by law he cannot disclose any disciplinary information about the juveniles involved in making the bomb threat.
