At this week’s meeting of the Morris School Board, the Chair of the American Indian Parent Advisory Committee, Stefan Liljenquist, reported that the group took its annual concurrence vote in the past week. Unlike last year’s vote of non-concurrence, this year’s vote was in concurrence.
“Things are definitely better,” said Liljenquist. “We’ve seen a lot of improvement on different areas of communication issues and stuff like that. So, we’re very happy with that.”
Liljenquist said there have been more families coming regularly to their meetings.
