BRANDON – Brandon-Evansville’s defense flexed their muscles in a 54-37 victory over Hancock on Thursday from Brandon.
The Owls turned the ball over 18 times, shot 28 percent for the game and were held to just 10 second half points on 4-25 shooting.
Keagan Schiele paced the Chargers with 11 points, six rebounds and four steals. Tanner Bitzan had 12 points with six rebounds, Titus Fuller added nine as they won their fourth straight game to improve to 16-7 on the season.
Matt Thompson battled foul trouble all night, eventually fouling out with 12 points and seven rebounds for the Owls who after winning eight straight, have now dropped back-to-back games falling to 16-8.

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 66, Rothsay  58
WHEATON – Trailing by a point at halftime, Wheaton/Herman-Norcross opened the second half on a 12-0 run and never looked back for a 66-58 victory over Rothsay.
Dylan Bainbridge led the Warriors with 18 points, Matt Thielen added 15, while Nick Lupkes chipped in nine points, eight rebounds and seven assists. The Warriors are now 10-12 while the Tigers fall to 4-21.
