A free family fun night Sweet Heart Dance will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Morris Area Elementary School gymnasium. All families with children from birth to 6th grade may attend. Early Childhood and Family Education Coordinator Diane Strobel told the KMRS Community Connection who will be heading up the music at the dance.

“We are having Tom Schott return. He will be the DJ for the dance,” said Strobel. “He has a wide variety of music — anywhere from the Chicken Dance to YMCA to AC/DC.”

In addition, the Morris Lion’s Club will provide free vision screenings, the Early Childhood Dental Network will provide a dental care kit and book to all children, and there will be healthy snacks. Extended family members are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult.
