Nineteen University of Minnesota Morris students are working on 14 community projects through the school’s Center for Small Towns. The program gives towns access to student talent and resources while letting students develop as professionals by using their classroom knowledge. Students also create bonds to Greater Minnesota.

This year’s spring projects include data and program development for RUSC Kinship, research on Native American Boarding Schools, and helping with the City of Morris’ social media and communication, the 8th District Drug Court, the Grant County 4-H After-School Program, the Morris Farmer’s Market, the Morris Public Library, and the Honey Bee Festival at the Oldenburg Arts and Cultural Community.
