A sure sign of spring is around the corner, with the KMRS/KKOK Spring Expo 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lee Community Center on the Stevens County Fairgrounds in Morris. Over 50 exhibitors will display information and their wares. There will be cooking demonstrations and samples by Exclusive Home Products both days, Mi Mexico will offer tacos and nachos, Footnotes Dance Studio will perform 2 p.m. Saturday, and the Morris Lions Club will serve a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday for a free will offering with all proceeds going to buy books for 2nd graders. Pulled pork sandwiches will be sold by the Morris Hockey Association, provided by the Pork Producers. Proceeds from those sales will go to the Lee Center renovation project.
Many exhibitors will have door prizes you can register for, including KMRS/KKOK, which will give away a 4-piece Westbend Cookware set and cookbook valued at over $600. Admission is free.
