West Central Area sophomore Lexi Bright has earned her second straight Pheasant Conference Most Valuable Player award announced on Monday.

Bright averaged 20 points, six rebounds, five steals and three assists per game this past season, helping the Knights go 11-1 in conference play and win the Pheasant title.

Hancock Owls coach Tony Thielke was named the Coach of the Year after the Owls improved their win total by 10 games this past season, going 12-12 in 2018-19, and 22-7 in 2019-20, including 10-2 in the Pheasant Conference which was good for second place.

The Knights Brynn Fernholz and Hailey Bennett joined Bright on the All-Conference roster, Liz Rustan was named Honorable Mention.

Hancock led with four All-Conference honorees, including Carlee Hanson, Rylee Hanson, Tori Pahl and Lexi Staples.

Brandon-Evansville had Bailey Schaefer and Mikenna Pattrin named All-Conference, Kristen Kokett was an Honorable Mention.

Lora Botker and Reanna Ward were All-Conference for Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, Jessica Moberg was Honorable Mention.

From Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Maycee Tolifson and Izzy Schmidt were All-Conference.

Hillcrest Lutheran had Mackenzie Foss named All-Conference, while Ortonville’s Emily Ross was an Honorable Mention.
