Hancock School District is preparing for Distance Learning that will start on Monday. The district is working on a plan to distribute school materials to students. Classroom materials for grades PreK- 6 will be mailed out today. Families that are receiving meals will receive classroom materials with the meal delivery. The district office will be contacting families that have requested Chromebooks with pickup information to include classroom materials.

Every 7th to 12th grade teacher will post a daily student attendance check-in in Google Classroom by 8:00 a.m. daily. Students are required to check into each of their teacher’s Google Classrooms sometime between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, or else they will be counted absent.

Teachers can be contacted on school days between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through email and Google Classroom. Some teachers will utilize other media platforms such as Zoom for their classes.
