The Morris Public Library building will remain closed to the public during this time of Governor Walz’s stay-at-home order and they are no longer circulating books. Curbside pick-up is not an option at this time. The library has suspended holds on books. Library Director Anne Barber said in a statement that patrons should keep track of wanted items.
Check out times have been increased for those materials already in circulation and fines will not be collected. No materials need to be returned at this time. Barber also recommended electronic resources such as Overdrive/Libby, Hoopla, TumbleBooks, eLibraryMN, and e-Books Minnesota. Some but not all of these services require a library card. The library can still be called to set up a library card or for other questions as 320-589-1634. The library’s Facebook page and website at morrispublib.org have current updates.
