The Minnesota Whitecaps selected two former Wisconsin Badgers and one former Bemidji State Beaver on day two of the NWHL draft Wednesday.

On day one they selected two Gophers, Alex Woken and Patti Marshall out of Minnesota in rounds one and two.

In round three they selected Badger forward Presley Norby at number 17 overall.

At number 23 overall in round four the Whitecaps drafted BSU forward Haley Mack.

With their final pick they selected Wisconsin defenseman Maddie Rowe in round five at 28th overall.

Minnesota is the 2019 defending Isobel Cup champions, but did not get to play their final game for to claim back to back titles due to the coronavirus.
