The Hancock Community Library announced it will be open to the public soon, but with some new health and safety regulations in place due to COVID-19. They will only allow one family and/or 5 people into the library at one time. As the summer progresses, things may change.
They have also added a “sneeze” shield. Hand sanitizer and masks are available when you come through the door. They are asking patrons to use hand sanitizer or wash hands prior to entering the library. There will be a summer reading program, with reading logs and sign-up sheets available at the library. Prizes for different age groups at the end of the 8 week program will be awarded. The librarian is also producing activity packets for younger readers to take home and complete.
