Grading continues on the west end of the Highway 210 project, from east of the Wilkin/Otter Tail County line to County Road 21. After the long weekend, starting Tuesday, work will begin on the east end of the project, from just west of the Interstate 94 interchange (before the divided highway starts) to Airport Drive.
As the work starts on that east side, flaggers and pilot cars will control local traffic during the day. Access to homes or businesses along the work zone will be maintained, so if your destination falls within the project, please obey traffic control and drive with caution to your destination.
As a reminder, the road is closed to thru-traffic until October, and the detour route is County Road 19 N, County Road 16/10, County Road 88 and Interstate 94.
Highway 55 between Barrett and Hoffman remains closed. The road is impassable just east of Barrett at the Pomme de Terre River. Follow the detour route on Highways 59 and 27. Bridge replacement work had been suspended in November 2019 because of delays due to de-watering issues. The project was re-bid and work will resume June 1.
