For a second time, the Minnesota Department of Health is reporting a first case of COVID-19 in Stevens County. The first time a case in the county was reported earlier this month, further investigation by health officials transferred the case to another county. That leaves the northern counties of Cook and Lake of the Woods as the last two counties in the state that have no confirmed cases of the coronavirus. Big Stone reported its fourth case, and Swift is up to 17. there were 493 new cases in the state in the last 24 hours. As of today, 606 patients remain hospitalized with the virus, with 242 of those in the ICU. The death toll rose by 35 since yesterday, bringing the statewide death total to 967.
