After two months of closure, Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance is reopening today on Atlantic Avenue in Morris. Its board of directors decided to implement a COVID-19 Safety Plan to reopen with limited hours 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, in hopes of returning to earning a revenue. Safety plans will emphasize stricter cleaning policies and social distancing measures for volunteers and customers. There will be no in-person events, but the organization will be exploring digital-like virtual exhibitions and online sales. New artwork will be taken in by appointment only. There will also be a plexiglass barrier at the checkout.
