Stevens County will collect household hazardous waste from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3 at the County Highway Garage on Highway 9 north of Morris. The collections offers a chance for residents to get rid of unusable paints, stains and varnishes, as well as aerosols, lawn and garden pesticides and flammable products. Items not accepted are business waste, explosives, ammunition, asbestos and fluorescent lights. For information, contact Stevens County Environmental Services at 320-208-6558.
