While business is down to half of what it normally should be, restaurant owner Boe DeToy of DeToy’s Family Restaurant in Morris told KMRS that the business has been getting by with takeout and curbside service and has no major plans to try to accommodate outside diners.

“Yeah, that’s kind of what we’re doing. Just kind of staying with the curbside and takeout,” said DeToy. “We are putting a few picnic tables out front. But other than that, that’s about all we’re doing. We’re not going to try to wait on people outside. They can come in and get it and then take it outside and eat it.”

While he patiently waits for restaurants to be allowed to bring back dine-in customers, DeToy has taken advantage of the downtime by getting some painting and tiling down in the restaurant.
