Morris Schools Superintendent Troy Ferguson told the KMRS Community Connection that the newly-constructed bus garage by the school’s tennis courts is now completed.
“We have moved over to the bus garage and operations are happening out of that building now and so that’s been a long time coming, a significant upgrade,” said Ferguson. “Our community stepped up to build that beautiful new facility and so we’re very pleased with how it turned out, its function and the aesthetics. I know they’re all very, very happy to be over there.”
Now that the garage is operational, the solar panel array put up by the high school robotics team will be hooked up soon. Ferguson said bids are out on that project. As for the remainder of the interior reconstruction of the high school, Ferguson said that for all practical purposes that project is done.
