This piece of equipment adds texture and a curing agent to the concrete slab on the Highway 210 project. Without this step, the road surface would be too slippery to drive or walk on when wet.

Next week, concrete crews will be back to pour the eastbound lane between I-94 and Airport Drive. For those who live or work in this section of Highway 210, a pilot car will guide you onto the westbound lane to navigate safely through the work zone. DO NOT drive around the barriers in the eastbound lane; the concrete needs time to cure.

Reminder: the road is closed to thru-traffic until October. The detour route is County Road 19 N, County Road 16/10, County Road 88 and Interstate 94. Unless you have a destination that’s within the work zone, you must use the detour route. Yesterday, crews began removing pavement from Airport Drive to County Road 21. In addition, they were finishing up grading on the very west end of the project in the area west of County Road 21.
