Horizon Public Health has launched a health campaign to help people remember best practices aimed at promoting behaviors that can limit the spread of COVID-19, especially as the state opens up. The campaign is called “This is Serious.” and features a series of images that focus on 3 Ws: Wait 6 feet apart and avoid close contact from other people; Wear a cloth face covering; and Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.
The campaign consists of digital and social media ads, radio PSA’s, billboard messaging and signage emphasizing personal responsibility and behaviors proven to minimize transmission of the virus. According to the Minnesota Department of Health data, the median age of confirmed cases in the Horizon communities has been between 35-40 years of age.
