Hancock 13, Madison 0
MADISON – Hancock erupted with a seven-run fifth inning to bust open a close game on their way to a 13-0 rout of Madison in the 18U season opener on Tuesday in Madison.

Leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Dain Schroeder kept the inning alive with a two-out double. From there Hancock managed to send 13 batters to the plate getting hits from Gideon Joos, Colton Crowell and Preston Rohloff.

Adam Shaw doubled and Danny Milander added another hit.

Hancock is in action with a pair of home games next week when they face Sacred Heart/MACCRAY on Tuesday, July 14th, and Benson on Thursday, July 16th. Both games start at 6:30.
