Stevens County now has a 6th confirmed case of COVID-19, according to data released yesterday by the Minnesota Department of Health. Both Grant and Big Stone Counties increased their cases to 17, Pope jumped to 12, and Swift inched up to 23 cases with 1 death attributed to the virus. Douglas has 66 cases, while Otter Tail County increased to 100, with 1 death. Statewide, the death toll continued its recent one-digit increase by 8, making a total of 1,485 Minnesotans who have died from the illness.
Included in 39,589 total positive cases in the state are 3,862 health care workers.
