Sacred Heart/MACCRAY 6, Hancock 3
HANCOCK – Hancock fell to Sacred Heart/MACCRAY 6-3 in 18U baseball on Tuesday night in Hancock.

Kody Berget took the loss for Hancock, giving up two runs on four hits over three innings. Berget walked four and struck out two.
Preston Rohloff allowed two runs and struck out six over two innings of relief, Taylor Hanson tossed a perfect seventh inning.

At the plate Hancock got two hits apiece from Rohloff, Davin Rose and Danny Milander. Rose and Dain Schroeder each scored runs for Hancock who is 1-1 on the season.


Morris 13, BOLD 3
MORRIS – Morris broke open a close game with a six-run fourth inning and continued to pull away for a 13-3 victory over BOLD in 16U baseball on Tuesday from Chizek Field in Morris.

BOLD led 3-2 before the big inning by Morris, who got three RBI’s apiece from Sam Kleinwolterink and Ethan Sperr.
Sperr, Brett Hanson and Brandon Jergenson each had two hits, with Jergenson driving in a run and scoring another. Flynn McNally, Brendan Hardy and Ross Marty each had an RBI, Marty also scored two runs.

Kleinwolterink earned the win striking out six over three hitless innings. Durgin Decker allowed three runs over three innings, striking out seven.

Morris is now 2-3 on the season.
