Stevens County has risen to 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the latest data released this morning by the Minnesota Department of Health. The number of deaths statewide from the virus continues to track downward from last month with 8 deaths reported today, giving a cumulative total of 1,526 deaths. The number of confirmed cases, however, is on an upward trend, with 611 cases reported today. Grant County now has 32 cases, with 1 death from the virus. Pope has 19, Traverse has 8, Big Stone 18, Douglas up to 91, Lac qui Parle at 6 and Swift at 40 with 1 death. The number of patients in statewide ICUs is down to 103, but 249 are still hospitalized with the illness.
