The Morris Area Chamber of Commerce has cancelled this year’s Prairie Pioneer Days, which had been scheduled to take place in September. In a statement on their website, the Chamber said “This year we need to put a pause on Prairie Pioneer Days to best support the health and safety of the spectacular community that we call home.” The statement said the event was created to support the community and that “its legacy is found in the memories we share of times spent together celebrating our community.” The Chamber hopes to bring Prairie Pioneer Days back in 2021.
