Morris City Hall is looking at opening to the public in the beginning of August. City Manager Blaine Hill explained on the KMRS Community Connection why the City is taking a slow and cautious approach to re-opening its offices to the general public.
“City Hall is still closed to the public, partly because we’re still trying to figure out how we want to allow people back in,” Hill said. “Partly because we’re a very small office and if one person gets sick it could effect the whole operation of the city. And partly because we don’t have as many people that need to come in and see us.”
Hill stressed that members of the public need not make it difficult for city staffers by risking an in-person visit, when most questions can be answered via email or phone.
