Karima Christmas-Kelly will miss the remainder of the 2020 season due to a ruptured right Achilles tendon, the Minnesota Lynx announced Wednesday.
Christmas-Kelly, who signed with the Lynx in February as a free agent, suffered the injury during Tuesday’s 90-66 loss to Seattle.
The 30-year-old logged two points and one rebound in five minutes before exiting the game. Christmas-Kelly registered seven points, five rebounds and three steals during Minnesota’s season-opening 77-69 win over Connecticut on Sunday.
The Lynx (1-1) return to the floor Thursday to battle Chicago (2-0) from the WNBA bubble.
