In data released this morning by the Minnesota Department of Health, there were 625 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed statewide, and 3 more deaths from the virus. Around the area, Grant County bumped up to 56 cases with 3 deaths from the virus, Swift County notched up 2 for its 55th case with 1 death. Holding steady since the weekend were Stevens County with 18 cases, Traverse with 11, Pope at 48 and Big Stone with 22. There are currently 320 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus in the state, with 159 of those in the ICU.
