Stevens County saw a spike over the weekend in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and has now seen its 45th case. Pope is at 64 cases, Swift at 63, Grant holds at 55, Traverse at 21, Big Stone now at 34 and Douglas up to 166. There were 2 more deaths from the virus reported Sunday, and 934 new cases statewide.

UPDATE FROM MONDAY’S REPORT:

Stevens County saw a spike over the weekend in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and has seen another 2 cases in Monday’s data released by the Minnesota Department of Health, and now has its 47th case. Swift notched up 2 for a total of 65 cases, Pope is at 64 cases, Grant holds at 55, and Traverse stays at 21, Big Stone now at 35 and Douglas up to 167. There was 1 more death from the virus reported this morning, the lowest number since April 13, and 934 new cases statewide.
