Minnewaska Meet
GLENWOOD – Minnewaska took first in both boys and girls cross country at their home meet on Tuesday night from Glenwood.

Benson/KMS was second in each, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta took third.

The Lakers and Braves each placed four in the top ten on the boys’ side, with Minnewaska’s Maeson Tank taking first place, Benson’s Landon Thompson was second.

Thomas Tiernan and Charlie Hanson placed eighth and ninth for the Tigers.

The Lakers had a team score of 28, the Braves were at 34, and the Tigers scored a 60.

The Lakers Sydney Hagen was first on the girls side, Isabel Firth of Benson/KMS took second, Caryn Marty and Isabel Fynboh took 11th and 12th for the Tigers.

Minnewaska’s team score was 21, Benson/KMS scored a 46, and MACA finished with a score of 68.

GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING

Minnewaska Area/MACA 100, Perham-Dent 80
GLENWOOD – The Minnewaska Area/Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Gators swimming & diving team earned a 100-80 victory over Perham-Dent in a dual meet on Tuesday from Glenwood.

First place finishers for the Gators included the 200-medley relay team of Bailey Schoen, Makena Thoen, Audrey Dorweiler, and Julia Kuehne.

Makenna Hufford won the 200-Free, Natalia Obregon in the 200 Individual Medley, Dorweiler for the 100-Butterfly, Kuehne in the 100-Free, and Bailey Schoen for the 100-Backstroke.

Claire Reed, Obregon, Thoen and Kuehne were also part of the 200-Free relay team that took first place.
