Morris Schools Superintendent Troy Ferguson announced Friday that Morris Area Schools will move to its Hybrid Model for both Morris Area Elementary and Morris Area High School beginning this Wednesday due to the growing number of active cases of the coronavirus in Stevens County. Under the Hybrid Model, pre-K through 6th grade students will continue to attend school all day, every day and grades 7-12 will be on an A-B schedule. There will no school today or tomorrow so teachers and staff can prepare for the switch on Wednesday. September 16 was originally scheduled to be an early release day, but given the change to a Hybrid Model will now be a day that students remain in school all day.
