Stevens County has shot up to 87 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in data released Sunday by the Minnesota Department of Health. Most area counties saw an increase in cases in the daily report. Swift is up to 94 cases, Pope now at 74, Traverse is at 29, Grant is at 58, Big Stone at 51 and Douglas has hit the 200 mark. New figures will be announced after 11 a.m. today.

UPDATE FROM MDH DATA RELEASED MONDAY MORNING:

Stevens County has shot up to 87 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in data released Monday by the Minnesota Department of Health. Most area counties saw an increase in cases in the daily report. Swift is up to 96 cases, Pope at 74, Traverse is at 29, Grant actually dropped 1 to 57, Big Stone went up 4 today to 55 and Douglas passed the 200 mark and now sits at 206. Statewide, there were 643 new cases and 3 more deaths. There are 273 patients hospitalized with the virus, 135 of those in the ICU.
