WHEATON – Brandon-Evansville bounced back from their first loss of the season with a sweep of Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 25-17, 25-14, 25-20 on Thursday in Wheaton.

Bailey Schaefer once again led the Chargers with 14 kills, but it was two hitters the Warriors had to worry about all night with Mikenna Pattrin adding 11 kills.

Korrie Randt tallied 26 assists, Taylor Yeats had two service aces as the Chargers improve to 5-1.

Brylie Schultz led the Warriors with seven kills, Izzy Schmidt added six, Amanda Lanter had six assists as they fall to 2-3.

Minnewaska 3, West Central Area 1
BARRETT – Minnewaska Area earned a four-set victory over West Central Area 25-19, 25-11, 25-23, 25-20.

Makenna Panitzke led the Lakers with 13 kills with 10 digs, Brecklyn Beyer added 11 kills. Avery Hoeper had 14 digs, Avery Fier added 13 and Kristin Glover chipped in 12. Haley Salas tallied 24 assists for the Lakers who are 2-3, the Knights fall to 3-4.
